Who I am – My name is Ann-Marie Roberts-Chai, a middle school mathematics teacher with 15 plus years of experience in the field of education. I currently teaches 8th grade math along with a high school credit course (Algebra 1). I enhance the teaching and learning process by providing students with a student-centered, hands-on, and fun filled learning experience.

To build clarity and confidence in learners, I will consider implementing well-organized and structured learning materials to help students navigate content easily.

I intend to transform teaching and learning by integrating technology in lessons by incorporating digital tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.

Fun facts about me
I like to create my own recipe for making smoothies. We grown our variety own fruits in Jamaica, and I enjoy combining ones when making smoothies just to find out their tates and then share them with my friends.
My Husband is a chef by profession, but enjoy engaging in bake-off competitions with him during Christmas time, even though I do not usually win.
This is one way of getting together and having fun. I enjoy taking road trips because it gets my mind off the “hustle and bustle” of life. I feel relaxed as I enjoy the scenery.
